The best, by far, is The One, a career mode with role-playing elements that puts. People who want something more realistic don't really like the "story" GM mode-the story is bad but unlike M圜areer you can just button past all that shit- but dependingo n how simmy you want it they basically made the top 3 in the draft Lebron, Porzingis, and Westbrook clones. Similarly, while NBA Live 18 has a variety of game modes to choose from, there are only a few that are interesting.

I will say 2K's GM mode is fine for me, but I'm pretty casual with that stuff. Just basic stuff like the movement didn't feel good and I felt like it was way too arcadey, like dumb cheesy shit would work all the time (vs CPU at least) and it felt like there was very little skill involved. NBA Live 18 Career Mode: It's time for my James Harden revenge game, but can we win in this thrilling finish of my career Subscribe. It doesnt matter which mode you start with, but it may be easier to start working on League first since you can use sliders and difficulty settings to your advantage in that mode. Some may like this linear approach, some may hate it, but the fact remains that career mode in NBA Live 16 is all about development and on. The career mode for NBA Live 18 is split into two sections - League and Streets. Despite all my issues with 2K I'm still playing M圜areer because I like the gameplay, whereas after a couple hours with Live I hated the game itself. Unlike the hyped, story-driven career offering from NBA 2K, Rising Star simply lets you play each game as your created player, and has a primary focus on developing your player into an elite NBA player.

Live 18 has a better career mode, in terms of not having a trash ass story with no way to skip cutscenes as well as not having to grind for hundreds of hours if you don't spend VC, but the actual gameplay is not up to snuff.
